Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, will apparently not be playing her anymore.
Warner Bros has adamantly denied the claim though. According to one WB spokesman, "She's a sixteen year-old girl, she can't say no to the might of our studio. We will crush her, CRUSH HER!!!!"
Daniel Radcliffe spoke out about his co-stars situation. "She just doesn't want to do Harry Potter anymore, she wants to grow. It's hard being so young and so rich, with your whole life ahead of you. I can understand that. Luckily I'm doing a play on the West End which, they tell me, is about horses."
Watson, who was credited in the first movie as 'the one who could act' says she's eager to do other acting roles. "I'm sixteen, time is catching up with me. I really don't want to be still typecast as 'Hermione' when I'm in my early twenties. I'm eager to play other roles, I think I could really surprise people."
Watson could surprise everyone if she gets her dream job.
"I know Cate Blanchett's playing Bob Dylan, and since beginning acting at age two, I've always wanted to play Jimmy Hendrix. I think I could really do justice to the man and the music."
We wish her well in the future.
