Antonella's amatuer photos were critiqued and new ideas were suggested

Antonella Barba, the former American Idol Contestant whose pictures have been all over the internet, celebrated her being voted off the show this week in a strange fashion. Her weekend was spent at the home of Hugh Hefner, more commonly known as The Playboy Mansion. While there, she was entertained by a party in her honor.

Antonella just missed out on being one of the Idol twelve finalists, being voted off as one of four others on the night when only sixteen were left in the competition. Many Hollywood experts believe that the conservative Middle America base did not like one of their pop star wannabees more famous for her nude photos than her voice.

While in the party at the mansion, Hefner presented Barba with certificates from Google and Yahoo, the two largest internet search engines. It seems that Barba is the first person to knock Britney Spears from the throne as most searched celebrity in the images category on both sites. Spears had been at the top since last fall when the famous photos of her exiting a limo took the world by storm.

Hefner then introduced Barba to some professional photographers, who suggested possible poses and critiqued for her the famous pictures. A contract for a future photo spread (no pun intended) was laid in front of her to sign, but she said that she would have to think about it and entertain other offers. Even when offered the cover and a centerfold, she said that she would take the offer under consideration.

When asked how a Playboy photo shoot might differ from her amatuer pictures on the internet, Barba was quick to reply with, "well, it wouldn't suck."
