Just when you thought Shilpa Shetty had gone back to relative obscurity comes news that she is to feature in a red-hot new movie with American Idol slapper, Antonella Barba.
Channel 4 bosses are said to be livid about the news and suggest that it contravenes a verbal contract that they have with the Bollywood babe and star.
Shetty, speaking from her new home, India's famous Taj Mahal, told The Spoof:
"This is fabulous news. I know that Antonella is big news at the minute and now that my fifteen minutes of fame are coming to an end, what better way to prolong my time in the spotlight than to do some load of old doo-doos with her?"
Showbiz insiders are suggesting that the movie, a bio-pic about the early days of the BBC's famous two fat ladies duo, will be awash with lesbo sex-romps and chicken cordon bleu.
Veteran chef, Keith Floyd, commented:
"Antonella and Shilpa? What a duo. Phoarrr! Eh? Lubberly jubberly old scout"
