A man who had, for months, enjoyed listening to a particular foreign-artist song he had heard regularly in a music video on the TV, received the shock of his life when he finally found out what the song's lyrics meant.
Moys Kenwood, 55, first encountered the song on Cambodian TV in June or July, and cheerfully hummed along to it, adding 'vocals' wherever he could 'remember' the sounds of token words within it. It was not until his wife heard him mimicking these vocals, and pointed it out to him, that he became fully aware of what he was singing.
"It was quite embarrassing," he said. "There were all sorts of references to various body parts, and what this woman wasn't going to do to them, if the man in the video gave her half the chance."
The lyrics Kenwood was referring to cannot be reproduced here due to strict licensing laws, and the Spoof's upholding of its own standards of common decency, but you can be sure in your own mind that they were quite the most disgusting lyrics you can possibly imagine.
Kenwood's wife told us:
"He just happily sang along to that filth without having a clue what it was about. I've put a block on that channel now, for his own good."
