Barry Chuckle, one half of the Chuckle Brothers, the zany, chuckling, brothers who caused so much chuckling in the 1980s, 90s and in the early part of this century, has chuckled his very last chuckle, I can confirm.
Barry, 73, had been ill for some time, but, as he did with everything else, he just chuckled it off.
Barry's brother, Paul, also a keen chuckler, was at a Sooty Show in Glasgow when he was informed about Barry's 'inability to chuckle anymore', and paid tribute to Barry's professionalism, sense of humour, his mustache, and, of course, his chuckling.
The brothers, both from Rotherham, starred in their own children's TV show 'Chuckle Vision" from 1987 to 2009.
Chuckle at that!
