In a shock move, the BBC announced today that Matt le Blanc would be replaced by the potential Republican nominee, Donald Trump, if he fails to win the presidency later this year.
Le Blanc, who disgraced himself earlier this week by eating doughnuts near the Cenotaph and then regurgitating them onto blood-stained poppy wreaths while a brass band played 'Uptown Funk', has been dropped. Trump, who is no stranger to controversy himself, is said to be keen to join the team.
Sebastian Pre-Renewal Tory-Bias, the controller of BBC2, said 'Trump is ideal for 'Top Gear'. He's an unrepentant racist, a smug, charmless self-publicist, an overbearing, misogynistic bully, an apologist for violence and an artless, graceless fascist lacking any redeeming human qualities. It's like having Jeremy Clarkson back'.
Trump was unavailable for comment, but a representative confirmed that he had been contacted by the BBC. Meanwhile, the new look 'Top Gear', to be shown on Amazon later this year, has been filming in Germany. The team have been road-testing various types of trucks used for transporting inmates to concentration camps during WW2.
