Country music writers have been asked to cut back on the beer lyrics.

NASHVILLE - One of the most respected organizations in country music, The Country Music Bureau has just made a monumental announcement.

CMB President Blanchard "Buck" Buxtonhouse, stated to the news media that the CMB is issuing a directive which asks all country music artists to kindly cut back on their lyrics which include the word beer and direvatives thereof.

Buxtonhouse pointed out that the directive comes as a result of individuals such as Hank Williams, Jr., Blake Shelton, Trace Adkins, and several others who have gotten to the point with their beer guzzling where they have a drinking problem.

The CMB notes that 6 out of every 9 songs include the words beer, drinking, chugging, alcohol, or Lone Star Longnecks.

SIDENOTE: Hank Williams Jr., who can be as ornery as an aardvark is ugly, has stated that he is now going to make sure that every song he writes has the word beer in it.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
