SAN FRANCISCO - Ian Somerhalder was visiting old friends in San Francisco when he was asked about a recent comment he had made on The View.
Somerhalder, who stars in the hit cable show The Vampire Diaries told Whoopi Goldberg that he found Kate Gosselin to be a very attractive woman.
He went on to say that if he ever decides to get involved with a cougar he would definitely want it to be her.
The 35-year-old television star was asked what exactly about Kate did he find so exciting.
He grinned and said that she has one of the best looking butts he has ever seen.
Ian then added that he has seen a lot of booty in the 21-29 age range, but Kate's 38-year-old tush is by far the most desirable.
SIDENOTE: Barbara Walters told Ian that she had Kate's cell phone number and she asked him if he would like to have it. Somerhalder blushed and quickly nodded in the affirmative.
