NEW YORK CITY - Anderson Cooper is shocked to hear the recent rumor that he recently went out on a secret date with Kathy Griffin.
Cooper who is an avowed gay male stated that he has no idea where the rumor started but if he was a betting guy he would bet that it was started by GOP mouthpiece Ann Coulter.
Anderson stated that Coulter has been mad at him ever since he suggested that she enter next year's Kentucky Derby.
He said that Ann had told Regis Philbin that she would get back at the little sidesaddle riding fairy.
The supermarket tabloid Say What? reported in its recent edition that an unnamed inside source had said that Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin had been seen in a secluded area of Central Park and that Cooper had gotten to 3rd base with the flaming red headed Kathy Griffin.
When Kathy was asked about the rumor she giggled and said that it was true and that Anderson wanted to hit a homerun but she told him that she was afraid of getting mosquito bites on her hooha.
