NEW YORK CITY - David Letterman told a reporter with The Right Coast Revue that he already misses his former late night talk show competitor Jay Leno.
Letterman said that although its true he and Leno had their ups and downs deep down inside, somewhere around his duodenum he really and truly liked the man he called The Chinmaster.
David said that he loved making fun of Leno's high-pitched voice and his penguin tattoo and Jay loved making fun of the gap between Letterman's teeth and the fact that he sometimes wears a bra.
The CBS talk show host stated that those four things showed all of their television viewers that neither one of them was perfect.
He then giggled and said that they are still a lot more perfect than folks such as Regis Philbin, Kobe Bryant, Oprah Winfrey, Brett Favre, and Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson.
SIDENOTE: Ashburn Wasabi with The Right Coast Revue asked Letterman if he would ever consider having Jay Leno on his show. Letterman laughed and replied, "Ah let me put it this way, a Missouri mule will win the Kentucky Derby before that happens."
