New York - Last week's sordid shagging revelations about the former UK PM and Rupert Murdoch's ex Wendi Deng didn't actually name Blair in any potential paternity suit, at least not yet.
Now a new twist in the plot sees former Woody Allen publicist Hortensia-Lou Devilsclaw allege the movie director was duped into making years of alimony and child support payments to Mia Farrow despite their son Ronan being fathered by Tony 'Shagga' B Lair.
"That Frank Sinatra stuff was a rank red herring," Ms Devilsclaw told celeb watch site LA FagHagSlagMag.con reporters this evening, "a juicy tidbit to keep the scent off the lurid Blair trail."
Devilsclaw was Allen's publicist throughout the heady Annie Hall daze and was privy to some of his most private moments according to LA studio bosses who knew all about that 'stuff'.
This weekend the website is running the story of Blair's paternity following a tipoff that Ronan Farrow's conception in London was part of a long fling between the ditsy actress and the KGB-hired mobster who went on to become Prime Monster of the UK.
Commenting on the revelations a NYC DNA testing lab proprietor said he'd be more than willing to do the test to prove or disprove the alleged paternity.
"Uh, the only other serious candidate has to be Bill Climton," Dr Gonad said, "and he's in enough trouble as it is."
