HOLLYWOOD - Dancing With The Stars co-host Tom Bergeron has confirmed that Phil Robertson star of Duck Dynasty has in fact been asked by the DWTS producers to appear on next season's edition of the hit dance show.
Bergeron noted that Robertson would be a welcome addition to the celebrity group and he appears to be a fast learner.
Professional dancer Peta Murgatroyd has already stated that she would love to be his dance partner. She said that he reminds her so much of one of her music hero's Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top.
Bruno Tonioli, DWTS judge known as The Gaytalian, commented that he thinks that Mr. Robertson may have to cut off some of his beard so that the pro dancer does not get it accidentally caught in her hands.
And English judge Len "The Grouchy Grouch" Goodman noted that he once had a beard like Robertson's back during the war. When asked what war, he remarked that it's been so long he's forgotten now.
SIDENOTE: Phil Robertson has said that he would love to participate on Dancing With The Stars since its one of his favorite shows along with The Real Housewives of Detroit and The Tamale Wars.
