American actress, producer and author Marilu Henner, who is renowned for having never forgotten a single thing in her life, forgot where she left her keys this morning.
"I'm certain I left them on the kitchen table!" Henner exclaimed. "But no one has been in the house and the keys just seemed to vanish!"
Though her vanishing keys episode may be familiar to millions of people throughout the world, Ms Henner claims she has never lost anything or forgotten anything since the age of 5 and fears this may be the first sign of Alzheimer's.
"Isn't forgetting things the first sign", Henner asked. "What will happen if I forget something else?"
Paranormal researcher Hal Jenkins believes Ms Henner did not actually lose her keys but is a victim of 'disappearing object phenomenon'. "She has a playful poltergeist in her home. If she asks for the keys back nicely they will be returned to her".
Henner took Jenkins' advice and, sure enough, she found the keys that afternoon in the bathtub. "I never leave my keys in the bathtub!" Henner exclaimed.
Neurologist Frank Jennings said a single forgetful episode is nothing to be concerned about but did say, "if she forgets something else have her come see me".
