HOLMBY HILLS, California - Hugh Hefner, who is 87, has just announced that he plans to sell his California Playboy Mansion and build a new, bigger one in Denver, Colorado.
The Playboy Magazine mogul told Tittle Tattle Tonight's Pico de Gallo that the time is right for him to make a move.
Hefner was asked if the fact that Colorado has decriminalized marijuana had anything at all to do with his decision.
Hugh grinned like the Calabasas cat that swallowed the Cucamonga canary and replied "Maybe just a wee bit."
Hefner told de Gallo that about a dozen of his Playboy playmates had practically begged him to relocate the mansion to Colorado.
He pointed out that back in May, Simon Cowell had talked to him about purchasing the Playboy Mansion which has an estimated value of $54 million.
SIDENOTE: Hefner said that at the moment he is looking forward to having President Obama and the first lady visit the Playboy Mansion the day after Thanksgiving.
