NEW YORK CITY - Joan Rivers recently appeared on Live With Kelly and Michael and she was asked what she thought about Anthony Weiner and his ongoing off-color carnival.

Rivers, who turned 80, in June, replied that she loves it and it has given the city of New York millions of dollars in free publicity and advertisement all over the civilized world.

The comedian stated that if his name was Anthony Schwartz you would hardly hear the late night talk show boys mention him.

But having one of the funniest last names of any English speaking nation makes him the butt of hundreds of jokes just by the mere fact of his surname.

The Queen of Mean said that Anthony Weiner's last name sounds like it was made up by some vulgarian like Ricky Gervais, Russell Brand, or Alec Baldwin.

According to Hollywood Innuendo the name (Weiner) unmistakingly implies the male sex organ (wiggle widget) which is reason enough for Joan Rivers and other comedians and talk show hosts to all collectively hope that Anthony Weiner becomes the next mayor of New York City.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
