HOLLYWOOD - Lady Gaga has stated that it is time for her to go from the concert lights to the movie lights as she announces she has just signed to appear in her very first motion picture.
The New York singer will be appearing in the Robert Rodriguez action thriller production of Machete Kills, a sequel to his original film Machete.
Lady Gaga informed Silver Screen Magazine that she will be portraying a gun toting blonde seductress known as Lady Chameleon, the younger sister of the infamously notorious Lady Horny Toad.
The singer noted for wearing costumes and outfits fashioned out of food and feathers is thrilled that she will get to work with noted actors such as Charlie "Space Cadet" Sheen, Mel "From Hell" Gibson, and Modern Family's Sofia "Twin Peaks" Vergara.
Director Rodriguez stated that he also considered Angelina Jolie for the lead part, but added that Jolie's botoxed lips were much to big and would have taken away from Lady Chameleon's natural look.
He also turned down Sandra Bullock due to the fact that she was lacking somewhat in the tata's department.
The film will be shot on location in the Mexican cities of Tijuana, Cabo San Lucas, and Aguascalientes, which resemble Mexicali, Cancun, and Zacatecas respectively.
