INDIO, CA--In what has once again shocked music-lovers the world over, hologram Tupac Shakur was found dead as a result of a violent East coast/West coast rap battle following the now infamous Coachella music festival.
The hologram rapper, who's surprise appearances at this years Coachella event have been lighting up the social media sphere, was once again the target of a fatal drive-by shooting.
The hologram projector was being hauled away from the event when the vehicle made a stop at a red light, sources report. That's when an unidentified white SUV pulled up alongside the vehicle, rolled down a back window, and peppered the hologram rapper with gunfire.
Police arriving at the scene admit it never looked good for the postmortem rapper. "His casing was cracked in several places, and his projector screen was completely shattered," said first responding Officer Forscall. "I'm honestly surprised his image was able to flicker with life for as long as it did."
According to sources close to the family, hologram Tupac hung on to life for several days before his mother, Afeni, was finally forced to pull the power plug on her son's two-dimensional image.
At press time, construction was beginning on a hyper-realistic robot Tupac, expected to be up and running in time for Coachella 2013.
