Previously considered useless digital repeat wasteland channel, Watch HD, has received praise from an unlikely source.
The channel is part of the UKTV group of channels which broadcast BBC content alongside specially-commissioned programmes. The Group also includes channels such as Gold, Dave and Alibi - all generally regarded as graveyard platforms watched only by desperate daytime viewers.
But now shadowy vigilante group, TV Repair Man, has come out in favour of Watch HD. The group has sworn to 'clean up' day time schedules and rid TV of what it describes as "soi-disant reality ordure.'
"It has become necessary for TV Repair Man to reconsider its stand on some of these digital channels in the light of recent investigations," read a statement released by the organisation today.
"Any channel that regularly screens Total Wipeout USA has to be seen as contributing to the cultural enrichment of the nation.
"We are not above acknowledging our previous erroneous stance on channels such as Watch HD and are pleased to be fulsome in our praise of the schedulers who bring Wipeout to our screens."
