Hug Halfner believes Lindsay Lohand's Marilyn Monroe - themed Playtime pictoral will knock the new issue right off the shelf - a keepsake for the Lil-Lo desperadoes proving some people just cant get enough of the 'Some Like It Hot' look-a-like maiden.
"The concept came from the he-she's at Rikers," Halfner told Lola Heatherington from ET Star Talk, in a recent spill all interview.
"I had mixed hardcore emotions. I could not have anticipated, quite frankly, that it would turn out to be such a sexual newsworthy star studded event, or that the X-rated pictorial would turn out so sweet. We literally worked the super magic on Miss Lohand. It's true she has been through grinder more than once." says Halfner.
Oddly enough, the two never crossed paths - even at the explicit bare all photo shoot. Even so, Halfner is well aware that lately, Lohand is "carrying around some serious designer head luggage."
"Historically, Playtime pictorials are connected to super mega stars at various times in their exciting or not so exciting careers," Half says. "Sometimes it's the beginning of their blazeh career and sometimes it comes at a particular unstable moment - as with Lindsay - that is intended as a turnaround for the 'sticky fingered' gifted girl."
Halfner says his wish is that "this is a born-again beginning for sweet darling Lindsay" and that he wishes her all the best with her new 'sex kitten' image. "I think there's a rooting interest for her, move past those big butt Kardishians," he says.
Part of the reason the uncensored special edition issue is such a big seller, Half says, is due to his keen eye for detail and direction on the positioning of Lindsay's ultra intoxicating and revealing layouts.
It was he who insisted on the breathless fully nude Lohand pictures, after all everyone has already seen her hoo-hoo on more than one occasion, smirked Lola.
During negotiations, "Some of the people around her said, 'No, no I don't want see Miss Puss again.' And I said, 'No, look, this is how it's going to be boys. Just be sure and don't wear 3D glasses. This is how we do it at the Bunny Palace," smiled Halfner
