The UK's biggest model railway makers have released plans to build the UK's fastest train set. The company have decided to grasp the nettle and throw investment capitol at the project to mirror the government's proposals and meet with the country's demand for faster train sets.
Brian Postlethwaite a die hard model railways fan said "It's about time the UK had plans for a true high speed train set. I'm sick of the Germans and French laughing at me and my Inter Shity 125, which is slower than my daughters Go Go Hamster!"
But it's not all good news for Brian and his hobby. It is estimated that the new train sets won't be ready for some 20 years and that means Brian will definitely be too old for his scale model.
When we asked why it would take so long, the makers said, 'We need to consult our fan base, approve designs and build the thing. That takes time you know and besides, we can't release the set before the government release the real train or nobody will know it and sales will likely crash."
The company wouldn't confirm their intentions to ask Sir James of Savile OBE, the octogenarian feeler of young ass, to launch the set, only admitting that without his vocal attributes even the Government may struggle to launch a new train.
