A company in China has been calling it's new men's cologne, Jockey, which claims that the odor is that of Polo. However, the Ralph Lauren Company has sued the Chinese over their product.

A judge in the hearing late last year ruled that the Chinese Cologne "Jockey" was called by an entirely different name and that Ralph Lauren, at that time, had no case.

However, as the case continued in January of this year, attorneys for the Ralph Lauren Company argued that the ingredients in the "Jockey" cologne were the exact same as their own, which is patented, but that the Chinese had merely added a couple of extras.

Still, the judge ruled in favor of the Chinese Company and told them they could go ahead and sell their cologne but that they must leave off the "Just Like Polo" on the boxes.

Finally, this morning the Tengzhung Company has pulled all its bottles of "Jockey" due to the fact that none were selling. Apparently, with the Polo name off the box, no one was purchasing their product.

To make things worse, after the cologne had sat on the shelves for awhile, those two extra contents made them smell more like used underwear than that of a little guy/gal riding a horse.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
