Pres. Obama, president of the new GM,announced today that GM will no longer be building gasoline or diesel powered vehicles, all vehicles will be electric .
He made an exception for the Corvette, however, which will be powered by gasoline V8's, purchased from Ford and Chrysler: the 6.2 Ford Boss engine and the 6.1 Chrysler Hemi.
He announced that the 17000 vehicles that the Govt. will be buying will be limited to Ford Crown Victorias and Lincoln Town Cars, and some Chrysler 300c SRT8 models for himself and close friends in the Govt.
Obama will place restrictions on Toyota, Nissan and Honda that each company will limit it's US production to 10000 units per year, with no imports allowed from them.
The production of new Fiats in the USA is encouraged and placed no restrictions on importing any Fiat vehicles.
He also said there would be no restrictions placed on Rolls Royce vehicles.
