Shares in high street store Shoes R Us shot up by 6000% this afternoon after more Shoes were flung at world leaders. In Cambridge a drunken student of bar science hurled a smelly trainer at the Prime Minister of China. The smell was almost unbearable but everyone escaped from the room unharmed.
The increase in share value is due to the fact that many other world leaders are expected to give speeches soon and have shoes thrown at them.
A spokesman said that it intended to offer single shoes to customers who could prove that one of their shoes had indeed been flung at a world leader.
Brown leather topped shoes are said to be the favourite for throwing, closely followed by the traditional black slip on.
