Off the Wall Street - (Primary Mess): A huge surge of City money is poised to pour into Hillary Clinton's campaign coffers amid reports Nancy Pelosi will veep on the former first lady's dream ticket.
"History's second presidential female double act has scored with the triple A rated big guns," a Standard & Poor analyst said today, "if you subscribe to the idea that Nancy Reagan and Barbara Bush were the ones wearing the pants during the 1980-1988 era," the shrink added.
First to sign up are bankers JP Morgan who last month hired ex-UK Prime Monster Tony Blair as image consultant.
"He's a little tarnished and frayed around the edges," a Wall Street SlagHagMag editorial said today, "but that's how President Bush has asked central casting to spin him. The GOP's right behind this one."
Also high on the Wall Street list is Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway which will go the Clinton/Pelosi route after a dun (sic) deal for a NetJets private heliport to be built on New York's Roosevelt Island.
Meanwhile WalMart Holdings is poised to add their weight to the dream ticket warchest after successfully negotiating livery rights that will sponsor Airforce One, the presidential limousines and state banquets with the company logo and merchandise.
"We're talking stratospheric $$$$s here," S & P added enthusiastically.
