Sporting good giant Ding Inc surprised the business world 58 years ago today by merging with little know Spal Balls Inc.
Ding CEO L. Ing acknowledged that his grandfather and company founder D. Ing would probably be rolling in his grave at the merger with Spal Balls: "Granddad hated the Balls family especially CEO Spal Balls. He always called him 'Small' as if by mistake but everyone knew what he meant!"
A company spokesperson announced at the time that the new company would probably be named Dingspal Inc. Advertising Dept Creative Director Tess T. Cula is rumored to have already produced the new conglomerates slogan.
An anonymous source told this reporter to look for ads in all media with the new "We got Balls" campaign. Dingspal will be stamp on everybody's balls before you know it.
