Mark Lowton, co creator of TheSpoof.com has come forward offering free moustache rides to all comers. Gender is not necessarily an issue and all races are welcome. Mark had the idea as a promotional campaign for his web site. Mark has a very impressive moustache and has always wanted to put it to use for the betterment of mankind.
The tag line for the promotion is, "ride on some handle bars tonight". When the concept was originally conceived the staff at, The Spoof, didn't think there would be any response what so ever. As it turns out everyone wants to go for a spin on this infamous Internet facial fuzz. Demand has been over whelming with request of over 500 rides a day.
Mark said, "it's been a great promo so far, but I must say my lips and jaw are killing me. I can't figure out what these little blisters on my lips are either. I've never spent so much money on lip balm."
It seems this kind of promotion has never been attempted on the net before and the Guinness people are considering making a new category for this one, depending on the final tally of rides given.
