Monica Lewinsky, the infamous mistress of former president Bill Clinton, has just announced that she has signed a deal with Conair to lend her name to a new line of hair dryers.
The Lewinsky 4000 model hair dryer dries hair with such air thrust and heat that drying time is approximately half that of conventional hair dryers. The secret is the presence of a tiny nuclear reactor in each blow dryer.
The Lewinsky 4000 will retail for $129.99 and will be available in stores nationwide this fall.
Ms. Lewinsky spent several days in Los Angeles last week filming television commercials for the new hair dryer. The ad campaign is catchy and apropos. It features Ms. Lewinsky, clad in provocative lingerie, cavorting with the hair dryer. At the end of the commercial, a voice not all that dissimilar from President Clinton's, says, "nothing blows like a Lewinsky.
