ORLANDO, Florida - (Satire News) - The Board of Directors of SeaWorld, the world famous marine mammal park, ride theme park, and oceanarium has voted to change the name of the aquatic themed park.
The board voted 7 to 6 to change the name from SeaWorld, to the more appropriate OceanWorld. The name SeaWorld has existed since the park was first opened in March of 1968, 58 years ago.
One board member, Lizzy Q. Weltmeister, 46, noted that that the name SeaWorld with the name "Sea" in the title is extremely limiting.
So she spearheaded the idea of dropping the name SeaWorld and replacing it with OceanWorld.
Needless to say the Orca Whales, the Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins, the Gentoo Penquins, and the Harbor Seals all continue to feel as if they are in a prison environment.
SIDENOTE: Effective Dec. 24, SeaWorld will become OceanWorld.
