As well as doubling the number of characters that can be used in a tweet, Twitter has decided to change some of its colour as well.
Mr Amstrad from Twitter said: "We have had a number of complaints from a few overly-sensitive types. You know, they post really offensive information, but complain that they don't like the colour, because it is too aggressive.
"So, we have changed the red colour that shows 'You have already posted this' to a much more soothing yellow, on the off-chance it might please a few people.
"Of course, other people will complain about the change of colour, and some other people would complain about a new opportunity for other people to complain...Still, at least now we can see twice as much bullshit as we used to."
