Blue Bayou Oil Well #17 discovered the Exxon Valdez oil in the Gulf of Mexico.

NEW ORLEANS - Representatives for the Louisiana based Blue Bayou Oil Company have just informed the news media of an amazing discovery.

Arden Woodbush, III, spokesperson for The BBOC said that company geologists are reporting that the oil company has found oil pumped up from the Gulf by Oil Well #17, that is from the oil freighter Exxon Valdez which ran aground and broke up on Bligh Reef in Prince William Sound, Alaska on March 24, 1989.

Woodbush remarked that it is impossible to believe, but geologists took DNA samples from the Gulf oil and compared it with those from the Alaska oil spill and they are a perfect match.

The BBOC says that they figure that the Alaskan oil was carried south by the Japanese Tsunami of 2010, and it made its way through the Panama Canal, and eventually up into the northern waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

SIDENOTE: Arden Woodbush told the members of the press that Blue Bayou plans on sending the bill to clean up their oil pumps and oil hoses to Exxon, owners of the ill-fated Exxon Valdez.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
