Sometimes you have to allow your kids some room. Like, before you run out and by them a new AK-47 for Christmas, bring your old one out and leave it lying about the house and see if they show any interest. I'm no Doctor Phil, but that youngest one of ours has that same gleam in his eye that I have, and my daddy before me.
