Republican Strategy for 2020 (or How to Prop Up an Overt Racist): When (not if) the President makes some blatantly racist comment or tweet, if you’re from a safe district, say nothing. The base eats this shit up.
If, however, you’re from a more vulnerable district, mumble some insipid nopolgy (not, of course, ever using the word “racist”), and look real sorrowful, shaking your head at least twice.
