During the 1990s, Jose Carreras, Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti were a regular fixture on the concert tour. Billed as "The Three Tenors," they toured the world. But just before their scheduled performance at the Grand Opera House in Verona, Domingo was forced to withdraw to take care of a business matter. What to do? An astute concert manager recruited one of Domingo's relatives, who was both a look-alike and came with a reasonably good voice.
