I've never understood "Bible Study." If a book is "revelation" ("a usually secret or surprising fact that is made known," Merriam-Webster Online) or "revelatory" ("making something known: revealing something in usually a surprising way," ibid), why do Christians have to study so hard to get at its meaning?
Was God, or the Apostles, really that bad at writing?
