The Oz artist spoke today about chatting with the Queen whose likeness he painted in 2005.
'She asked me if it was true that I once painted Jerry Hall in the nude over several sittings,' the portrait painter explained.
'I said I was fully clothed all the time and it was just the single session - because of Jerry's annoying habit of constantly fiddling with my Aboriginal wind instrument.
'Did Jerry do that? the Queen asked.
'Er, it was actually an Australian mouth organ, Ma'am, I replied, the didgeridoo is a bloke-on-bloke kinda thing.'
