What with my recent visit to south-east Asia, the Argentinian situation, and my personal assistant Jeremy breaking a finger nail, I've been out of touch with the political scene back here in the UK for a while.

The local elections seem to be going just as I thought they would.

Nothing unexpected, Davis will have it all under control.
