Dear Diary -

Well the same old song and dance routine has come up once again; the one about not being allowed to eat meat on Friday.

I just received three certified letters from McDonald's, Wendy's, and Jack-in-The-Box asking me to veto the Catholic Church Doctrine about not eating meat on Friday.

I wrote each one back telling them to stop wasting my time and theirs because I am not changing my mind. I even let them know that the Long John Silver's people have said that if I do away with my "Meatless Friday" rule they will stop their annual donation of $2 million to the Vatican home office.
