Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson says in the press, that he expected Wayne Rooney to struggle to make an impact for England at Euro 2012.

He might have told me before I took him with us, despite his ban for two matches. Mind you, he's Scottish... so, fair enough.

Peter Crouch has revealed his disappointment at being overlooked for England's Euro 2012 squad, but insists he will make it his personal mission to fight his way back into international contention.

He's not moaning, just determined to get back. That's good... and rare!
