I wouldn't wanna be in Stuart Pearce's shoes at the moment (I think he's a size 9 and I'm an 8)

His Team GB squad were outclassed by Brazil (losing 2-0) in an Olympic warm-up match. Admittedly the boys from Brazil will be the team to beat in the tournament, but the crowd were singing throughout the 90 minutes "There's only one David Beckham" a reference to SP not picking the former England icon in the squad.

Who would have thought not selecting a player would cause so much controversy. Oh what's that noise? I hope its not Rio Ferdinand in my garden again throwing stones at my windows. I've already had to call the police three times this week. I was hoping the court order to keep him away would come through before the weekend...
