Had some nosy blokes round from the council today, complaining that my stands of bamboo and rattan at the bottom of me garden are too tall.

Explained that's how bamboo is and what it's used for in tropical countries - building - then showed 'em our bamboo tree house and the furniture.

Obviously impressed with it as they want a quote to build them a new town hall out of the stuff.
