I don't really have a lot of heart to write my diary after the local election results last Thursday.

I seem to be given the blame for our failures and losses by almost everyone... no everyone!

Going into Coalition with the Tories being a bad idea is the most popular accusation being cast in my direction.

I agree it was a hideous and brave but foolish move now.

But could any man be blamed for not wanting to work with Gordon Brown?

I wish I'd forced a re-election now.

Damn it!
