Can't get the local election results out of my mind. Absolute disaster for the Lib-Dem party.

I suppose the impact of going into partnership with the Tories is starting to show now - with people showing their distaste at the ballot box.

Tried to ring a few people for advice today - Paddy Ashdown, Charles Kennedy, David Steele, Shirley Williams, Simon Hughes. No-one is answering. Damn Caller ID.

Still at least Rupert Murdoch won't pick up the voice-mail anymore!
