The Lib Dems are vulnerable to a Labour advance in the councils they control in Swansea and Cardiff. The Tories might suffer from a swing to Labour in councils Plymouth and Harlow. And the big unknown is how many traditional Conservative/Lib Dem supporters will disaffect to UKIP?

A worrying time these local elections.

It could be worse of course.

What state would my Lib Dems be in if the Labour Party had a dynamic leader who knew what he was doing?
