The Daily Mail printed: many people will have been surprised to discover that Carr, Ken livingsdtone and a number of other rich folk and entertainers have spent considerable sums paying clever accountants and tax advisers to find ways of minimising their tax liability.

The British tax system needs to be comprehensively overhauled to make it harder, riskier and less worthwhile to try and avoid paying taxes in the way that most of the rest of us do. If the temptation is removed so will the crime!
