The Boston Globe have published that:
Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson - the boosterish, droll, dependably bedheaded current mayor of London and former editor of The Spectator, didn't land the Games for London.

That feather belongs firmly to his predecessor Ken Livingstone and the former Olympic champion runner, Lord Sebastian Coe.
