Dear diary

That nice David Blunkett was round again today asking me to return his sight. I had to tell him, 'David, David. You know I would if I could, but it was Dad's idea. There has to be a reason, but you know he moves in mysterious ways.'

It's a shame, but there's nothing I can do about it.

Look on the bright side, though. It keeps that nice guide dog 'Braindonor' in gainful employment.
