I feel that I have put in more than my share of hours in hospital beds in recent months, but I have been conscientious about visiting people, with the Queen, who are themselves no longer enjoying the best of health.

I know of a lady called Doris who worked for the Queen until old age and a had to enter a care home. Doris had clearly served Queen and country well, as, shortly after her retirement, the Queen and I paid her a visit.

I brighten up her day with a Trebor mint.

My generosity holds no limits!
