Ed Miliband - My Fake Diary
Thursday, 15 March 2012
Ken Livingstone has come under attack in recent weeks over claims that he was paid via a company so he was liable only for corporation tax at 20%.
I insisted at the Labour mayoral campaign launch at London Bridge station that "Ken has paid every pound" he owes.
Mr Livingstone is promising Londoners he will slash 7% off their transport fares, reverse police cuts and reduce rents if he is returned to City Hall.
My view is that people are more interested in how much they pay on the Tube and bus than Ken Livingstone's tax bill, frankly.
Good job too!
