I have urged Britain to put its best foot forward for the London 2012 Games.

The mega-event commenced on Friday night with the Opening Ceremony at the Olympic Stadium in Stratford.

I want to see the Job Seeker benefit claimants smiling, the Big Issue sellers to wave flags... not Polish. Lithuanian or Pakistani flags, but the Union flag, Patients waiting for operations in NHS hospitals to go out and welcome the visitors to the Olympics, the G4S officers to be grateful and treat visitors with respect, and above all... I want to make a fortune!

For London of course not myself... eh eh eh
