Being an Aston Villa fan, (although my link to the team comes through a relative who used to own the Birmingham club) I'm pleased they are doing better in the league now.

When I was on the election trail, my entourage was made up entirely of female aides - in an effort to balance with William Hague's all male entourage. I mention this because some idiot has mentioned this on his blog site.

We're down another point on the Voting Intention Poll! How Labour can be in the lead I do not understand... they're not doing anything!

Perhaps that's the secret?
